Bob, I small change for me...still 4 cars, but no stocker...it morphed into a Gasser which morphed into an Unlimited when I put a Neo in it.

 

So...2 rails, a roadster and an unlimited. Which I should have left as a gasser.

We will make the corrections race day because I am not so sure the 'grid' will be true until the cars are here.

 

 

Now...

Anyone that has committed a car or cars and fails to show at all will be ineligible to run any future events proxy that I put on.

 

Bottom line: We bought plaques and brought in drivers to serve you. No contact/no show = No fun.

I appreciate that, Bob. I would just like to be better prepared for once. It sounds like we all do the same thing- get our cars back and put them away for 11 months or so.

Sounds like me Bob, the beetle came back & sat on the bench, took motor apart to work and just kept looking at it

Not until I got a new vintage setup with strong notchy OEM magnet late in the day did the work begin! Along with the failed build chop top that missed the Cali drag Proxy all the work started late ..

As for now/next year.... already have some designs & cars in mind selected parts already .. work commencing in 11 months or so!

For the 2016 proxy.....    

 

The bucket list has 3 cars.

 

I get sidetracked, messed with a bunch of 'stuff' making kits... bla, etc. bla .. while I should have been working on these proxy cars.

Easy to sit there feeling the cog of some ARCOs and go into a zone out dream state for 20 minutes   ... For now ... It's alllll goooood.

This is my  2nd proxy race with vintage rails, I did the other one that was out in Calif ( I had missed the time frame for the 1st R&R Proxy ). 

 

Also, Im toying with the Idea of approaching the Big track in Dallas (they have a nice drag strip) and seeing if they would like to host a Midway proxy drag race! (as back up there is a local strip just up the road from me also)

 

So the possibilities of have at least 3 proxy races across the land would kinda fun and neat !!
