It's May 30 weekend, you can call this F1 race the Indy 500 for kicks.

You forgot to tell us YOU won GTC-FK. :good:

Was this your first win?

Got lucky twice, Sam. 1) Picked out a good motor. 2) With a minute left, the first and second place drivers crashed into each other. In the GTC-Pro race I think I got sixth or seventh overall.

See ya Wed. I think we're running F1 on the King.

My one visit to the Daytona 500 was this particular race. The fight was near turn #3, our seats were in Turn #1, so we didn't see much of the fight until Monday's newspapers were printed.

Had a great time at HVR. Jim and company are great hosts, Lots of inventory, cold drinks, and kept the program moving along smartly.

Good to see many of my previous East Coast buds, especially JJ, never a moment that he can't make better with a wisecrack.

Biggest THANK YOU of the weekend goes to John VW for running the Wounded Warrior Raffle, having done these myself in the past I know how hard, how much time it takes, and how frustrating it can be sometimes. Unless you have done one of these yourself you can't imagine the work involved or the feeling of satisfaction when it is done. :good: Thanks again, John.

Just too bad the car didn't go to me! :frown:

Thanks, Bill, but I think my efforts pale in comparison to your work over the weekend documenting the event, taking top and bottom pictures of all the cars as well as each driver during qualifying, plus making sure each car gets back to impound properly.

Thank YOU for all the work you do at the events you attend.

Raisin, no comment on the NASCAR video. We were there. On top of your parent's van. That was pretty cool when we realized Petty was going to win. NASCAR was more fun then.

No wonder Raisin and yourself grew up to be blood-lusting hellions.

Spurred on by NASCAR violence. LOL.
