Lots of good racing on-tap for Slots of Fun on Saturday, July 11 (delayed one week in observance of the holiday). As usual, all races are run exclusively on Slots of Fun's Grandstand track.

We start this month's races with a "Run What Ya Brung 5.5-Second Breakout." We don't care what chassis you use, what tires, what motor or what body. Just don't go faster than 5.5 seconds or the lap won't count. If the lap counter reads "5.501," you should be just fine. Turn a 5.499, and it won't register. Should be quite a challenge for us old-timers, who seem to fight for faster, faster and faster lap times.

Tech should open by 10:00 with racing soon to follow.

Next up will be the Retro 7-68 class. We use the Pro Slot FK motors for this one.

Next up will be our flexi GTP class, using Hawk motors. Always fast; always fun.

There's no better way to spend your Saturday than enjoying a little racing, and a lot of bench racing, with a good bunch of guys.

Come join us if you can, Saturday, July 11 at Slots of Fun in beautiful Abbeville, SC.
