Corey, I have studied your thread and can't find anything about it that violates Slotblog policy.
FYI, typo errors on a website that portrays itself as a legitimate business are usually a red flag.

The slot car racing community is so narrow and close that I think this is a reasonable presentation of the author's experience and may help others decide with whom to do business with in the future. I appreciate any entrepreneur's efforts and understand life gets in the way when you make plans to do things, however, most of us work hard for our money and spending this kind of money needs to be considered with all the forehand knowledge and information one can garner.

Where are they located, Corey? You might want to make a road trip.

I had the same experience with them. Was told the track was shipping week after week with an excuse every time I heard back from them. They finally shipped the track when I disputed the charges with the Credit Card company.

I wouldn't describe taking payment for a product and not delivering "struggling".
It's called something else.

Stick to the facts regarding this company and there won't be an issue with this thread.

Phoenix is little far to be making a road trip. According to Zach's experience they will probably ship the track eventually.
I bought a circuit board for an SRT lap counter on eBay and it took the guy over two months to send it. I was told by another guy that he always ships but is very slow in doing it. Another time I order four motors from a slot car business and it took seven weeks to get them. Some businesses are just slow, don't know how they stay in business in this day and age though.

Here's a couple more "Buyer Beware" tips for website shoppers, besides multiple typographical errors:
-if the website has been "Under Construction" for a long time, what makes you think your product will be delivered on time?
-no physical address. Who, or where, will you go if things go wrong?
Be careful who you give your money to.
I don't pretend to be a businessman, but when I build custom cars for customers, I tell them up front I work real slow.
I give them a realistic timeline, and a money back guarantee of satisfaction.
To take a customer's money and leave them wondering when, if ever, they will receive the product, is unacceptable.
Buyers who don't fulfill promises to pay, leaving the Seller in the lurch, are equally guilty.

Yeah I'm still out $950 I sent to a guy in Oregon offering to route a track for me. Settled on a design--sent the money which was half our agreed total. Then, stopped emailing and disappeared off the blog. Then a year later, I got a PM from someone asking me about him---he had pictures of MY routed track the guy was trying to sell HIM!! Did get back in touch but nothing but excuses for a year---just wrote it off to my own stupidity and trusting the wrong kind of people. The guy still lurks out in slot car forums. He'll get his karma when it's' time
I hope this guy can get your track to you. Good luck.
