Kevin,

It's great to see you back on the board. I hope we see you at the Sano.

Thanks, Diana, it's been a tougher recovery than I ever imagined.

A couple setbacks, but baring anything else, looking good for the Sano!

Rowdy, and Diana Dyckman's, boxes were the first to make it to the Sano, but Howie was the first human.

He promptly ran a 4.365 with his Bartos car, the exact same time he ran the Sunday night, a few hours after the warm-up race.

Damn, I hate missing this Sano, but none of my regular traveling buddies could make it this year and I really can't afford to come by myself.

Have a great race, guys.

... but Howie was the first human.

Not sure he warrants that label. I was present when Howie returned to slots after decades away and I'm thinking no human could have done what he did that weekend.

Howie is back at it, edging towards Ralphtilian type lap times.

He ran a 4.333 with his older Bartos X25R, and almost immediately backed it up with a 4.338, with his new Bartos Willy Custer-style chassis.

While not fully "Ralphtilian", Howie did get down to 4.304.

But, what I was probably more impressed with, was him going 4.45, with his F1.

Here's what the plaques look like;
