Dubro, Pactra? – I have no clue and don’t remember. I put this together in ’93 from NOS – Could also be Lancer but I’m thinking Pactra

Help would be welcome

Thanks

OK - looking at it now, it would appear the blank (black) space forward of the rear suspension would be where the exhaust exits the body work – duh.

Anyway, I would still appreciate knowing who made the body.

Patrick,

I believe it's Gurney's GP Eagle with the 4 cylinder Coventry Climax engine instead of the V-12.

I think this Eagle is part of a series of Eagle and other Indy-style bodies that Lancer came out with in the mid to late '60's.  As the other poster stated it represent the Coventry Climax version of the car.  The Climax engine was used by Gurney at the start of the season because the Gurney-Weslake engine was not ready yet.  I believe it was used as a back up car latter in the season.

Other bodies in that Lancer line as I recall were Brabham/Brawner Hawk/Ford, several versions of the Eagle, Gerhardt Offy with a duck tail spoiler, Halibrand, Stein Twin-Engine Porsche, '66 Watson Ford, '67 Turbine, '68 Turbine, Shelby Turbine, and there may be one or two others that I don't remember.  Sweet series of bodies that I wish all were still available.  Some, the turbines, are fairly readily available.

Outstanding - Thank you both Pete and Steve, That's what I needed. I'll be putting this up for auction Tuesday and it had me a bit confused.
