Okay--had to work on my tax's---so when I had down time last night and today--put a new "Trans Am " build together.  Camaro body--2.875 wide--

Again with the "Flex" plumber pans that I like---but this time a traditional straight front axle.  These are definitely easier to build.  It's in the tumbler now and will be assembled for Sunday's racing when it comes out late tonight!

Okay--added the RTR pics of the car. Now just hope she works good!! :)

Tim,

Is that a Warmack motor bracket? And what gear ratios work with it?

I'll let Tim answer your questions. My thought is if the holes were widened horizontally, you might get some added adjustability for different gear ratios. Adjustability might not be needed at BPR.

The holes did get widened a bit. I've got a 12/46 on there right now. And yes--it's a Warmack bracket!

What is a Warmack bracket?  Is this something out of the past or are these a modern innovation?

Mark, see the formed metal strip on edge at the rear of the chassis that the motor is attached to? That is a Warmack anglewinder motor bracket. It's a current item rather than an antique.
