I did use Comm drops.

I don't get out much, but do a lot of (fast) guys use them?

I'm not sure I ever noticed anyone using them in qualifying at the Sano.

I said from the beginning the retro hawk wasn't going to run with the pro slot.

I picked up no time. I have seen out west they put a drop in during qualifying and get faster.

Didn't they run higher voltage?  Like over 14 volts?  The PS motors work better than RH's then--keep the voltage down around 13 and the RH's will be more competitive.

IMO .you're right Tim .the lower the voltage I think they will even out or at least closer in speed.

My experience with comm drops (in Falcon 7 and H7 Motors) is they do more damage than good, blackening the com and causing failures.

They cause a 3-4lap boost and then starts burning

Fine on the braids, but keep the comm clean IMHO.
