Hi Speedy,
Last I heard the track was in a raceway in Sanford, Maine.
Don't know anything more.

hi, Bill!
howaya? good to hear from you.
mention of the UKB brought me back, that was a really good track, wondering where Lou is now (as well as the track of course).
Sanford, wonder if it's related to the same guy who hosted us.

Speedy, the former Lou's UKB is owned by a club group in Windham, ME. It was first moved to ME for a short-lived commercial raceway that opened in Windham. It was put up for sale with some other tracks when the raceway owner decided to move the raceway to his home town of Sanford. It never was posted as being sold, but it never showedup in the Sanford Raceway photos either. At this point I lost track of where the UKB was located. About six months ago, I heard from a ME racer, Zack Davis, that the Sanford Raceway had been sold to someone else & that the UKB track was set up in Windham by a club group. I don't know what or how often this club runs on it. I once went up to the former Windham commercial raceway with Jim Stinnett. Jim won a flexi, Deathstar powered, stock car race on the UKB easily that night. I had been trying to follow all these ME changes on various Facebook pages, but doing so got to be like hitting your head with a rock.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Lou has six grandkids. They keep him pertty busy.
One of the girls, about 3 at the time, was riding one of those battery powerd cars the kids have and she said:
"Grandpa, can we make it go faster?' Well that was all he needed to hear....... She got pretty good at drifting
that thing!
