Anyone know who made it? I've never seen one before...

Could be a Riggen, like the (AYK) chassis.

Irresistible design for the next Chicagoland Retro F1 body.
Yeah, that's the ticket.
A Lotus 49B.
Send to Noose and watch him go into cardiac arrest. LOL.

My guess on the body is that it's a Parma. I think the sticker on the nose is factory applied. They put it on everything back then.
I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

The car itself doesn't look too bad by the body would have to go

This Formula 1 body should represent the Lotus 72, a very successful car in reality - and in our racing series 1971-72, when I won each race with a plumber chassis, Mura Group 20 motor, and this body, nicely painted of course.
Maybe I will do a paint job on that body I bought a couple of years ago on German eBay.

Love it ! Where can I get one? Does anyone have an extra body that I could use to make copies of?

I think it would be possible to make it less ugly and probably perform better.
Make that back area more "scoopy/curvy."

I like it – it sure looks like one that a friend of mine had on a Parma anglewinder frame in the early '80s – they don't look that bad on the track.
Billy, if you are serious about molding some please advise.
Thanks.

Why bother?
Because Billy likes freaky bodies. Look closely at some of The Dungeon photos and you may see some in the background.

First thing Billy said today was, "Did anybody see the ugly body on Slotblog? That's going to be our JK Indy body for 2018 with some mods." So get ready, Pablo.

Bid is up to $102 with two hours left to go.
Pablo, is that you trying to give Billy a gift?

No, Tim - it's me teasing Billy for asking a question that was answered in the very first post.
Billy is a very talented man, he makes custom knives, is a blacksmith, a retired fireman, an enduro and road motorcycle guy with many trophies, and makes and paints his own bodies. He made The Dungeon track by hand himself.
Sorry for drifting, Swiss, and I know you had your heart set on winning the freaky body car LOL.

Why bother?
I won't say "Freaky cars for freaky people." Someone wants it badly, the current high bidder has made 11 of the current 18 bids. This bidder only has an approval rating of 3. Pablo's is much higher. This could be some kid just fooling around.
I have three clear bodies pulled by Billy and I know of at least one west coast racer who occasionally runs a body painted by Billy. I'll say Billy is good at doing both.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Nice cars you have Mark. This particular eBay car has the plated AYK chassis sold by Riggen & others, rather than the Parma brass/wire anglewinder.

I would like to make a copy of this body, even if I could just borrow one for a few days to make the mold, and return it.
