Congrats to Collin Martin taking 2nd and Vinny Cafazzo taking 3rd at NERR this weekend on 413 Raceways 110' hillclimb using the Stalker. I took the win and the stockcar championship with this chassis. All three cars were built by me. Thanks again to everyone choosing to run the Stalker.

I have received some feedback about the steel guide tongue being too soft in some cases.  So I went ahead and made some new ones from 1095 spring steel.  These are .032 thick and are the same shape as the steel, just with no chauffeuring. These are also .4 grams lighter so you may need to add a little weight to the front of the Fang.  The blueing may come off when soldering depending on the type of flux you use. 

 

 

I am offering free replacements for anyone who purchased a kit who would like one.   I am also offering to replace any guide tongues on the Stalker and Fang chassis I have built for anyone.  Please send me the chassis only (no wheels, motor, guide, etc...) and I will install a new one free of charge.   Please message me here to get your replacement.

Here are some results on the Stalker at RP8.

Congrats to Jordan taking the win in the E-main, Gary Clinton Jr. 2nd in the D-main, and Collin Martin winning the B-main. I grabbed the 2nd spot in the A-main. Gary and I used the full pan version without the rear stops. I also TQ'd with this version. Collin and Jordan ran theirs with the rear stops.

Some minor updates to the Stalker.  The front uprights have been slotted to allow for different size jig wheels.  A channel was added behind the guide tongue to help hold the 1/16" tubing in place when installing the center weight.   The channels for the pin tubes are now round to better cradle the pin tubes during installation.   I updated the tutorial for the build as with adding the channel behind the guide tongue for the center weight, it will be necessary to use two pieces of .047 wire instead of .062 on the center weight to align the tubing to the nose.

Stalker results from Retro East stockcar race at HVR. I took 2nd in the A-main. Congrats to Keith Libby taking 2nd in the B-main. Thanks to Joseph Emm, Vinny Cafazzo, Pat Skeggs, and Tim Wiegand for choosing to run the Stalker this weekend. Pat and Tim both qualified into the A-main. Tim ran one of my back up cars. Pats car was a Jersey John build.

I put the Stalker into the A-main to finish 2nd over all. Vinny Cafazzo and Chris "CD" Davis also qualified into the A-main. Congrats to Peter Lentros and Robert "Woody" Hazelwood for going 1-2 in the B-main. Peter and Woody both ran Dominator built Stalkers. Congrats to Larry Labounty winning the C-main with a ready to race Stalker and Bob Blanchette taking the 3rd spot with a Dominator built Stalker. Thanks to Bob Hughes, Larry Cyr, and Gary Clinton Sr. for choosing to run their Stalkers.

Congrats to Vinny Cafazzo for finishing 2nd in the A-main and 2nd over all with the Stalker at the NERR race this weekend at Rapid Raceway in Plaonville, CT. Congrats to Ed Burgess taking 3rd in the A-main and overall with a scratchbuilt version of the Stalker.

Thanks to Greg Wilkinson, Jordan Temple, Frank Blenkhorn, Rich Goucher, and Bruce Bruce A Ladd for choosing to run the Stalker this weekend. The Stalker took 2nd-6th in the A-main.

At Retro East in stock car the followong drivers chose to run the Dominator Stalker. Congrats to Dan Wiegand taking 2nd in the C-main with a Dominator built Ready to Race Stalker. Congrats to Pat Skeggs running a Jersey John built Stalker taking 6th in the A-main. Preston Selfinger took 2nd and I took 3rd in the B-main. Thanks to Tim Wiegand for choosing to run his Stalker in the B-main.

The Stalker came out 1-1/2 years ago and it continues to podium at premiere events. I'll up date this once the official race report comes out as I'm going off my "short notes" so if I missed anyone or misplaced the mains you were in I will correct it.

 

The Stalker had podiums in 4 of the 5 stock car mains for the second year in a row at Retro Palooza.  Congrats to Ray Lee, Peter Lentros, Gary Clinton Sr., and Gary Clinton taking podiums in thier mains. Congrats to Douglas Griffith winning the D-main, Frank Blenkhornn winning the B-main (7th overall), and Dan Wiegand winning the E-main. Thank to Bud Denning for choosing to a Stalker. I took 2nd in the A-main using the optional .064 removable center weight.

Congratulations to Donny Caron qualifying into the A-main and finishing 6th overall at the Retro Rumble at Fast Eddie's in Pinellas Park, FL using a Dominator built Stalker.

Due to the increase of brass the price of kits will be going up $2 to $67.  The pricing for brass sheets went up in the spring and I was hoping for it to come back down but that didnt happen.

Congrats to Danny Zona taking the TQ spot and finishing 2nd in Stockcar at the Fall Brawl. Danny used a Dominator built RTR Stalker right out of the case at Speed Zone. Danny adding some weight and the rest was history. Thanks Danny for chosing to run the Stalker.

Congrats to Danny Zona taking the stock car win in GRRR last weekend with the Stalker.

 

At NERR this weekend at Modelville Hobby 15 of the 28 racers chose to run the Stalker on the Royal. In the C-main congrats to Don Hall taking 2nd and Sergio Musacchio 3rd. In the B-main Tim Wiegand took the win followed by Woody Hazelwood in 2nd and Chris Davis in 3rd. In the A-main I grabbed 2nd and TQ'd setting a new track record of 4.088.

 

For those not following my facebook page I am expecting to have a combination of 70 chassis kits this week for Jackal Pro's, Stalkers, and FANG's.  I will work quickly to get all back orders filled.
