Ran it tonight, could see it was laying down flat on the straights.

Greg,
I think Steve is referring to the placement of the lane sticker.
I'm not sticking my finger in the fan of "the rules" but I can see a marketing opportunity for a 3" by 1" set of lane stickers.

Missed that entirely. My bud Jay Guard always bends his lane sticker in half and makes the rear half stick up as a spoiler on the front of his bodies, so that didn't seem so odd to me.
And I don't think I'd ever seen that body so that's what caught my eye.
No, I don't think that sticker placement was get by most scrutineers or race directors.

Looks like someone ran past a spray can with that body in hand.

I did that as a joke about six years ago.
I made a T-shaped device, three stickers wide, that double stuck to the back of a Retro F1 car.
I was a bit surprised that there was zero increase in performance.

Obviously not a Retro F1, however if under IRRA® rules it was checked mid-race it would not be legal. Looks like a morphed Red Fox body.
I will fold up my lane sticker on the nose of my car sometimes. I have never noticed a difference, but it creates communication amongst competitors.
I was at a USRA race back in the '90s and a racer had used lane stickers to meet the roof height requirement. I do not remember them allowing it.

Proud to drive an American car, from an American manufacturer, assembled by American workers.
I own a car from each of the big three: I have a Ford, a Mercury, and a Lincoln.

A poor pic, but just to show it had a curve to it.

It's an F1 - you can't polish a turd.

Tim, those front wheel flaps were commonplace in the late 60's. I believe they were supposed to give added front end downforce. How well they worked, I don't know because I don't recall ever having them on my cars.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.
