This weekend ORS will enter the thunder dome of Sinsinnati!

Bring the motors with no brakes. This track is forgiving and likes little brake. Perfect time to use of all those motors you have lying around that just don't seem to work at places like Tom Thumb or Mark's.

Many thanks to Tri-State for hosting the ORS race.  Good crowd of competitors and a fast track.

Many thinks to Eric Balicki, Bill Fulmer, and Rick Starkey for running the tech and car photos as well as the Tri-State crew for race directing all the races all day.  Also a happy birthday who got to spend the day racing free of any organization responsibilities.  The perfect slot racing present for a slot racer!

Race 8 at Tri-State Raceway on a warm spring day got a good turnout of locals and traveling racers. The track was well prepared
and fast as usual. The hospitality of the crew who made sure there was plenty of coffee donuts and pizza kept the racers well fed.

Entry breakdown was 12 for ORS Retro Anglewinder, 24 for IRRA Can-AM , and 20 for IRRA F-1. Program kept moving along and we were
all done by 7:30.

Doing something different all 3 classes were qualified before any racing started. Because the printouts I got didn't have quali-
fing times listed all I can tell you is the top qualifier in each category. In AW local Scott Hall, in Can-Am and F-1 another
local Jason" Butters" Engle.

After qualifying first up B main in AW 1st Mike "Raisin" Garrett with 232, 2nd Jason Echlebarger with 217.10, 3rd Tom Espinosa
with a 213.44 run.

A main AW Rick Starkey pulled it off with a 239.09, Josh Crutchfield in a rare appearance 2nd with 233.09 total and Raisin from
the B Main with 232.
Concours in AW 1st Tom Espinosa, 2nd Thom Greene, 3rd Jason Echelbarger.

Can-Am C Main winner Mike" Sand bags" McMasters 323.05, 2nd Tom Espinosa 310.15, 3rd Bill Fulmer 302.03.
B Main 1st Josh Crutchfield 321.14, 2nd Eric Wildt close with a 321.07,and Rick Starkey 319.10.

Can-Am A main Butters followed on his TQ to win with a 332.10, Raisin with 328.14 in 2nd,and Scott Brandonburg 3rd at 326.

Can-Am Concours 1st thru 3rd Earl Graybill, Kyle Snyder, Eli Ezrow.

F-1 C Main winner Kyle Snyder 301.04, 2nd Gary Echelbarger 294.15, 3rd Jim Leezer sections back at 294.07.

B Main Jason Echelbarger 321.02, Mike Miller 316.09, Eric Balicki 306.09

F-1 Main AKA the white car final, Butters again with a 326.08, Josh Crutchfield with a new Fang Chassis at 325.10, and rounding
out the top 3 Eli Ezrow.

F-1 Concours 1st thru 3rd Rick Starkey, Kyle Snyder, Thom Greene.

With out the help of Eric Balicki, Rick Starkey, Tina Boykin, Jim Leezer and the crew at Tri-State none of this would have been
as smooth and well done as it was. Thanks

Another successful event at Tri State, one of my favorite places to race.

Congrats to Butters, he sure gave us an %$# whipping on the Tri State king.

A big thanks to Bill Fulmer for the loan of the anglewinder, wish I could have given you a better result with it.

I'd say the best part of the day was Kyle Snyder being the 8 spot in can-am with only a few guys left.....that's when his nemesis mike mcmasters stepped up to the drivers panel and........needed a sundial to clock his laps.

Kyle in the main and mike James Rick......buried deep in the pack. Tom Thumb seems to now have a new number 1 driver.....
