... case in point, "Hong Kong Mabuchis." I'm sure I didn't "discover" these like some slot-car-Pizarro, but I was happy to learn about them after taking some apart and seeing how they could be useful. I think I got my first batch for something like a buck or two a pop... well, those days are long gone. Don Weaver and I were watching another auction of these on eBay that ended yesterday where a box of 24 went for $272! Maybe next time I'll just keep my thoughts to myself!

I was watching also until it got to $70. A happy seller I would guess.

I would say so, Brian!
On the bright side, it underscores the fact that there are people who still have interest in working on old motors... and/or... old chassis they can install a good analog for an old motor into. I mean, what else would you do with these where it would be anywhere near worth paying $11.33 plus shipping for them?

John,
I still have some left from our buy a year or two ago. At $12.00+ I may just have to let some go...
