As Sam said, they use the IRRA® rules.
They will be racing this Saturday, 5/27 at The Race Place in Holly Hill, FL. It's a cool track. It's a replica of the Daytona International Speedway and can be converted from a tri-oval to a road course. This time the GRRR guys will be racing 4.5" Stock Car, Can Am, and IMSA – all on the road course.
As I mentioned in the other thread, check out the GRRR sub-forum HERE on Slotblog.

Hi Mark,
To expand on what others have said, we run scratchbuilt chassis following IRRA® rules. Motors are for the most part JK Hawk Retros, a few TSRs have showed up lately. Legal bodies can be found HERE. Most every raceway in Florida stocks the necessary components to put together a car.
As Rollin said, we will be in Holly Hill this weekend. I will have a loaner car available for Can-Am and GT-Coupe (IMSA) if you want to check it all out.
If you have any more questions, feel free to direct message me.

Tarpon fishing on the 10th but plan on making some of these shows in July and Aug with my daughter.
Trying to learn the rules so I can have two race-ready cars in two divisions.
