Some of our racers were at the big race in Tenn. while Pablo was home with a sick doggy.

While they were missed, it did  gave the rest of us a chance to move up.

There were 4 ties in our three races, two of them were 3 way ties for first pace, Racing is always close here at the Dungeon.

Come join us for our first Saturday races, the cars you are now using on commercial tracks will work fine here at the Dungeon.

For Directions and our rules, PM me here.

Congrats to all, but notably, Billy won the "Manly Class, GTP" :D

Buddy was on fire and won NASCAR, Avis tied on GTP laps, looks like it was a fun day.

My doggie ain't "sick", he just had some pain management issues last week from injuries he had long before I adopted him.

I didn't want to leave him with a pet sitter just yet.

Thanks for the excellent race report, it's almost like I was actually there :dance3:

P.S. Is that a ball bearing alignment device from North Korea? :laugh2:

Looks like an anvil with one each cut off. I bet that's useful when straightening a flexi chassis to be flat & square. I got an 8 lb.sledge that would be helpful too. :laugh2: .

If an 8 pound sledge doesn't work, we are all in serious trouble :laugh2:

Where I come from, in the engine rooms of big boats we call that a "Pursuader" :aggressive: :wink3:

This  anvil is a Colonel style from the 1700s, it is not broken or cut off, it never had a pritchel hole or a step on the horn.

The  anvils most people are use to seeing were made later in the 1800s till now.

Every slot car racer needs to have one of these in there pit box to make chassis adjustments

Billy, were these colonial anvils made in the US?  I've never seen one of these in the North. I do have a small pit box sized anvil I use when motor building. I think it came from Micro Mark. They used to carry several different ones, each less than $20.

There are no markings on this anvil, so the origin is unknown, in the 1700s  this country was still getting a lot of iron products from England., The king had outlawed Iron making in this country to keep us dependent on England .
