Recently pick up a Classic Toronado, replaced the real wheels with the six spoke design to match the ones on the front. I recently saw this dealer as showing the front with 4 spoke wheels. Does anyone know which is correct? May be both?

The six spokes front and rear are correct on the Toronado. Four spoke fronts and rear are a Viper thing.

Thanks I was hoping someone would say that, as I only have a single 4 spoke front wheel in my box. LMAO.

I know this thread is ancient. But I have looked everywhere trying to find an answer to my question.

My question is-

What are the differences between a normal Toronado and a Modified Toronado.

Bruce:

I'm no expert on the Classic Industries "Modified Toronado" but I suspect the fact that the rear wheel wells are so different from those on a regular looking (see below) Toronado they just added that moniker to it.

The Modified Toronado is a lot shorter than a regular Toronado... probably wider too, made for those big Classic slicks.

Here's a vac-form Toronado, a Dugan with a Vintage body that's a replica of the DuBro. Don't have a Modified Toronado to compare it side by side... This one is 8"/20 cm long.
