I had some power outages, but only a few which lasted only a few minutes each. Lots of downed tree branches; no house damage that I know about. Tony says he and his wife are good but they do not have any power. How about the rest of you?

EDIT: From the local news stations, many people are without power. I hope that everybody is doing well, even if they don't have power. Naples was hit pretty hard, how is Ken Green doing? I think he lives in Naples.

I have roof damage. Half my roof is messed up.

A tree fell down and knocked my fence over. It also hit my neighbors house.

I still have electric though.

Sucks but it could be way worse. My friends down the road are flooded.

I'm lucky my buddy is a roofer and already at my house making plans on fixing it. Estimation is about a grand in material.

Biscuit is fine. Just no electricity.

Hope everybody is ok.

Everything ok over here just debris and a downed tree that blocks my way out of the neighborhood.

Hope everyone else is good !

Lots of branches and shrubs all over the place. No electric but besides that the evil lair is intact.

Lucky, real (expletive) lucky…

The storm track north and inland from Naples landfall pretty much “saved” the Tampa Bay area; instead of a right-side Cat 3 or more, it was a left-side Cat 2 or less. Still bad, but not anywhere near as bad as it could have been… But this hurricane affected pretty much all of FL, from the Keys to Jax…

Me and the pup-dog never lost power here in South Tampa. No wind damage to condo buildings. No flooding. No damage to cars. One tree down at the retention pond, minor fence damage. A lot of debris, most relatively small…

Resting up today, head into the hospital tomorrow to relieve those who have been working through all this (you never hear about those folks on the news, but they are among the best).

Lucky, real (expletive) lucky…

I have heard from Terry Tawney and Dennis Demole. Both have the same condition. Both families are good, but no power and no water. Dennis is pretty funny. He says that since he has a swimming pool, it wont be a problem to flush the toilet.  :laugh2:

I know his place isn't in Florida but has there been any word from Reggie? Looks like Saint Martin really got slammed.

Bernie Schatz got word that Reggie & family are OK; no word about the track though.

Latest, on FB, is that Reggie's King has just suffered very minor straightaway damage.

No word on the raceway structure, itself, that I saw.

No power in most of Melbourne Fl. We dodged a serious bullet as max recorded wind was less than 93 mph here. There is lots of damage on the beach with trees, signs, streetlights, traffic lights, roofs with a lot of damage. It will be months before they recover. Just 5-10 miles inland made a huge difference with much less damage that should be back to normal later this week.

Yeah, it turns out things aren't quite as positive as we hoped.

I saw some St. Maarten footage, while at dinner, and they say 95% of the buildings on the island have suffered damage.

One of the clips, showed a long line of buildings, with the fronts totally peeled off/gone.

Along with the info in the bottom link, Reggie's King is supposed to be buried in sand.

We were spared!  Just tree branches to clean up.

We lost power from 2:45am Monday until 2:00am Wednesday.  I didn't even mind getting up to close the windows.

Those 47 hours felt really long and served as a reminder for how truly blessed I am.

No Power or DSL.  I'm at a friend's who's power came back so I am borrowing the generator.  St. Johns River has not crested, I've been measuring height daily.  We started with 54 inches to the seawall, this morning I have 7.5 inches till breach.  House is maybe, I mean maybe 15 inches higher.  A nearby neighborhood on Lake Harney is inaccessible due to flooding.  We took the boats to go check, the water is almost to the foundations of many homes.  Yikes!

Glad folks are for the most part OK.  Could of been much worse.  Thankful!
