Along with three-four locals, A.J. Hoyt, Raisin, Jeff Strause, and Boogieman have wandered in.

I've been busy, but highlights on the monitor I've noticed:

Willy, with a 4.38, early on, on green.

I turned a couple of 4.42s  on yellow, with Diana Dyckman's self-built car.

Howie put down a 4.31, with the fast car from last night, but with a different motor.

Someone else, has a 4.34, currently on blue.

Looks like 20 racers in the building, at the moment.

Greg Fox and Ross Scharf made it in a couple hours ago.
 
We now have seven of the eight racers from last year's Can-Am A Main in the building. (Matt Bruce is in Italy at the ISRA Worlds)
 
Ross is the Sano 8, Amateur GTC-FK Champ.
 
Greg is the Sano 9, F1 and Can-Am Champ, and current GTC-FK, single lap, track record holder(4.468 - Sano 9).

Looks like 25 racers were here today, along with one or two more, still planning to get here, tonight.
 
I'm guessing about 35 total racers.
 
I've seen a bunch of low 4.3s on blue.
 
Most impressive time so far today is probably 4.32 on green, by Willy, and a 4.38 on yellow, by who knows who, a few hours back.

A funeral on one side of the family, a wedding on another and my wife's birthday to boot!

Family stuff sidelines me from the amazing weekend that is The Sano!

I'll watch for posts, take in streaming when I can and look forward to the pictures of the race cars.

 

Gregory Wells told me at a Sano a couple years ago .. there is something very Zen-like about slot racing.

 

I agree ~ It's the most captivating intricate hobby on the planet, and has the finest camaraderie I've ever experienced.

The fastest time I spotted while walking past one of the King monitors.

Ralph Thorne, at Sano 9, was turning similar times, the Saturday night before.

I know.

He made even on $5 bet, I had won earlier, on the Fiedler Flat, by putting down a barrage of mid to high 4.2's, on the King.
