The race for podium spot was between Joe, Bob and Rich. A few unfortunate incidents put Rich out of contention for the two top spots. Going into the final heat, Joe and Bob were very close. In the end, Joe finished first with 84.3 laps while Bob was only inches behind taking second. Rich finished third about a lap down from the leaders.
Jalopy
The Jalopy race was hotly contested with everyone but Nick and Scott was fighting for podium spots. Bobs 39 Chevy was the quickest in the group. Going into the final heat, it was Bob, James and Rich in first through third all grouped within a few sections. The final heat was uneventful. None of the three gave an inch. Bob finished first with 85.4 laps. James was second a couple of sections behind Bob and Rich finished third a few sections behind James.
