We look forward to everyone coming to the race tomorrow and should have a descent crowd for this race. Several of us are meeting around 8 AM for breakfast at Parkside Cafe located at 8180 49th Street North ,Pinellas Park, FL 33781 if you're able to join us that would be great.
Doors will open at 9 AM tomorrow and hopefully we will be able to start the first race around 10:30-11 AM.
Mark... will you be joining us?

I might race this summer, if I'm not skiing or boarding with the kids on the lake. Busy man these days.

I am pushing to have the Florida Wing Car Series run more on Sundays moving forward, at least at my place.
Is that something you would be able to participate in? Surely finding one day a month to support a hobby you seem to so vocal about shouldn't be that hard.

Thank you for posting the top 3 for each class we ran. Do you have a total count now of racers who participated in each of the 3 classes and overall standings?
If so, when you get the chance please e-mail me the final points and i'll post it at my raceway for the racers to see.

Jeff,
Please confirm the race schedule date for the July race at Fast Traxx's in Avon Park.
Bill Piich is still posting that it will be held the same day as our GRRR endurance race Saturday July 21st.
We need enough of an advanced notice so racers can plan ahead.
Thank you,

Mike Moock,
Gatormark is busy fishing, boarding, on my tractor mowing (pastures are growing), and just generally running his arse off LOL. Might see you at Avon Park race, might even enter a car or two.
Take care, Go Gators.

Hi Everybody
A past slot car racer, wing cars. Got away from it in the late 80's, racing Intl 15 motors with scratch built chassis. Desire to get back into it. I go to the Melbourne track running my older stuff turning 3.8 secs average. What are the current classes of wing cars, what armatures, can you use a scratch built chassis? Many more questions just don't want to build a car and find out it does make the rules.
Thanks in advance

Hi Charlie! Group F, 12, and 12 Lite. Group F is Hawk 6 or Hawk 7, 12 Lite is a Hawk 6 with a 12 arm, 12 is a 12 arm with full size ceramic magnets. Jeff Cox is the race dir for FL, you can IM him on Slotblog. There is a published rule set. Group F usually allows scratch builds. A Zap type chassis is unusual, but can be quite competitive. Group F is around a 3.5 sec lap for calibration.

Thanks
