Would be great if the Fla Wing Series made the intimidator format its F Class spec. That way when the series travels to different tracks the local wingers can race with the state guys.

As of now the FWCS is running 3 motor building classes pretty much eliminating any participation from local racers wanting to run with the big dogs when they race at other tracks. Yes....having a spec motor etc race included in the state series would help increase participation.
Marcus and I are already running Intimidator F Type races so you think it would only make sense.

Any plans for wing car races in Florida this fall [2021]? I live in Ocala and have a LOT of "stuff" having been very active in Texas. If there are plans what type of wing cars will be run?
Thanks in advance,
Steve

Hi Marcus and thank you for responding. Apparently, Winter Garden is not too far from Ocala! What are your hours? I am not on Facebook or any other social media so if you have a site there I cannot check it. Do you sell any motors and tires for Group F? What type of bodies and chassis work on your track? I have several different Group F chassis and bodies that worked excellent on King tracks. What would you recommend?
Thanks again,
Steve

- Tuesday 7p to 10p with the Group F race starting at 8p
- Thursday 7p to 10p to practice
- Friday 4p to 10:30p and we start race FLEXI around 6:30p
The longer chassis and bodies work best on my track, the motor is the Intimidator with 13/37 gear and we use the JK tires treated or untreated purchased here at the track.

Thank you Marcus. I shall dust off my Group F stuff and head your way soon. I have both long and short chassis for Group F so I will set up a long chassis. With or without ball bearings??? We were using Hawk motors for Group F but no big deal. I googled Intimidator motor and noticed that they come in ball bearings and oil light bearings. Which one do your guys run? Do you sell them?
Thanks again and I will get down there this month.
Thanks again, Steve

That being said, I would be happy to create a draft set of rules for each class. Just let me know which classes you all would like to run and I will create a draft document. I have many years of experience in wing racing and have a nice library of documents to draw from. No tracks close to me here in Ocala but I would gladly assist.
Cheers, Steve

P-1's rules are written as a tech checklist.
I'm attaching the .xls file that anyone can modify for their use if they want to.
