There is a doctor in Buffalo NY by that name and she is a native of Chicago. Somehow I doubt it is the same person though....

Jungle Pam might have been the showiest of all the dragstrip girls.

If we had many/any women followers we would all be fired for looking at these pix.

Not sure about the first name, but Lang it was. And the photo in post 22 is the one my cousin Ron Kipke had

hanging in the office of Elmhurst Auto Parts when he worked there. It was autographed, and I believe the

photo was taken behind Dyer's shop in Bridgeview. IIRC the date was about 1973 or 1974. The photo was

displayed next to the one of his Dodge Coronet S/S named "Outdated".

Joseph Migliaccio. Karma it's a wonderful thing.

Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

I have to remind myself (when I drive in downtown Boulder in the spring) that all of these college girls in the tank tops and shorts have daddies that would not like me looking at them as if I were still a college boy.

It changes your perspective when you are a papa with daughters. I just married my youngest off a couple of weeks ago.

"Distracted driving" is not a new thing.

But I confess that I did read to end of the posts just to see what you dirty old men were up to with this thread!

Yeah, we were all young once...

Sorry about the nerf. "Sorry? Sorry? There's no apologizing in slot car racing!"

Besides, where would I even begin?   I should probably start with my wife ...

"I don't often get very many "fast laps" but I very often get many laps quickly."

The only thing I know about slot cars is if I had a good time when I leave the building! I can count the times I didn't on one two three hands!

Former Home Track - Slot Car Speedway and Hobbies, Longmont, CO (now at Duffy's Raceway), Noteworthy for the 155' Hillclimb track featuring the THUNDER-DONUT - "Two men enter; one man leaves!"

"Distracted driving" is not a new thing.

When I was in HS I worked with a guy driving by the pool.  He crashed into parked cars.  Police report said "he was looking at girls".
