Will, I'm curious. How did you and Jeremy end up in the E Main?
And congratulations, Eric.

Yes. We both smoked 7Rs in qualifying. Mine was brand new with 0 races (short shaft). Blew the comm out on mine and Jeremy burnt a wire on his.
The rule was we could change motors but we had to forfeit our qualifying time. It was actually a super fun race. Earl Graybill beat me on fast time in one lane and I was giving it everything she had. WTG, Earl!

Eric Balicki won the Mac. Well deserved.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

I was happy to be behind the computer for the F1 E main and both the Can Am and F1 mains. Even though Earl was not going to win the E main, he was turning fast laps all through the race coming into the last two stints, he pushed to get a fast lap time. Will got motivated to push even harder. This motivated Earl to set a fast lap. It was back and forth with fast laps. Amazing drives by both Earl and Will. Even though it was not for position, it was a great battle to start off the day.
Jimmy and Cap proved once again how skilled they are as racers. The pressure building up in the mains was amazing. In Can Am, Jimmy had to hold off Cap in the last two heats. Cap was consistently a few hundredths of a second faster than Jimmy. As track power went off Jimmy and Cap both had to brake for the dead man. Jimmy was ahead going into the dead man and Cap could not get a good enough roll to make the pass when power went off. Cap finished just inches behind Jimmy.
Traffic near the end of the F1 main turned up the heat on Jimmy. In the last stint, he was ahead of Cap and trying to pull away but a crash blocking his lane put him behind Cap. Jimmy drove like crazy to catch and pass Cap. Cap did not give up and pushed as hard as he could, de-slotting in the dead man just before the race ended. Jimmy's car finished going into the finger and Cap's car was still in the dead man.

I will second what Mike had to say. As someone who will probably never get to Tom Thumb, I enjoy your chassis photos the best,

From the tech sheets, I'm guessing Steve was referring to GTC-Pro.
Of minor note, the body on Ricky Jr.'s F1 car, appears to be the same one as last year, when he won, and is a C/R M7, not a Parma.

From Bill's pics, it looks like Matt Bruce, won GTC-PRO concours, so I don't know what he meant. Lol

Is there a way to bring up the live feed from the race to watch it? I was a little busy trying to fend off Greg Fox's charge during the main and couldn't watch the battle between Cap And Jimmy!

It is a C/R M7 not a Parma ,same body that has been on that car for 4 years. In the top 3 all three years that it has been raced at the R4. Winning and setting the all time race lap total record last year. By the way that record still stands. It also has a doubled up C/R motor bracket.

Mike and Greg, I am so sorry for not posting about your epic battle for third in Can Am. I did not forget about that battle.
Yes, the R4 Can Am main had two amazing battles play out. Even though Mike and Greg race each other during the ORS season, they too had an amazing battle leading up to and going through the last stint of the race. Greg finished coming out from under the bridge while Mike was in the last quarter of the donut.
