Mick will have a refurbed Monty Ohren (BOW) Hillclimb soon as I can get there and gitterdone. I will be extending the top/bottom straights by 4' as well as extending the straight in front of the driver panel 4' (and the straight between the deadman and finger). I'll also slightly bank the 90 & donut. Should be done 3rd wknd of July.
Before pic:
Mick will also have the drag strip.

I'll pass this information on to John Ford.
Mick thanks you On the other note, I tried to post a correction for the BPR listing awhile back in that they no longer have the Hillclimb that was pictured but could not. I see it's been corrected.

Normally a very talkative guy I've been stifled by MDF dust and very hard labor I got to Vegas last Friday and began work on the BOW California Incline early Saturday. Honestly, I'm very comfortable building and working on 4 and six lane tracks, I did not look forward to working on this babe Gotta help out the Vegas crew though, there are some avid race enthusiasts that just won't let it die here in the Gambling capital!
Micky's new place is on the VERY busy Boulder Hwy between Arizona Charlie's and Sam's Town (same side of street). Saturday morn the new sign was installed and actually drew about a half dozen stops from interested passers by! (photos of outside to come). The new Slot Car City is a joint venture with Little Bigz Mikey who has the front half of the building filled with the finest sportsware.
Here's Biggun Bigz Houston showing he can perform even the most menial of labor tasks.
L-R Micky's bro Rick supervising as Houston and I try to get that dam turn to act right!
Just about to the final stretch. Added 4 each 4' sections, banked the finger, banked the 90, flattened the entry to the 180 and very slightly banked the 180. Also lowered the lead on somewhat to make the lead on more driveable. Lot's of leveling, some sidewalls, some routing, painting, braiding and wiring and we'll be ready to race!

Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

I've finished the rebuild but am stuck on a wiring problem. It was disassembled quickly and assumed that I would know how it goes back together. Unfortunatly although I know how to build tracks, I've always had a tech guy do my electronics. I don't even know how to hook up a relay unless it's spelled out simply as in the Trakmate system. I've never been able to figure out SRT...
Here's the track with mods:
Here's some of the first laps turned. L-R Micky & Houston
BTW, posted some help wanted herein and in drag section.
Looking forward to smelling some of that marine layer Well, the wife has been complaining about how cold it is @ the Marina...maybe time for a move back to AZ

When/if you slow down would be nice if you could schedule in a couple days to help me tune up the SD Hillclimb.
Leave the car at home, could I interest you in a round trip Ventura to SD train ticket?
Best,
Mike

I hope you great success in your new location. I come down every year to the NASCAR race in LV. I useally make a trip to your establishment to race on the King. I'll be down this next year to race on the hillclimb for once and buy some slotcar stuff from you again.
