With three high-speed King tracks in a row on the Ohio Challenge Cup tour, the board has decided to sweeten the pot a little bit for the 2018-19 season...
Announcing the King of GTP Challenge! Using the OCC points table, a second championship will be scored for the three GTP King track rounds (HMS in December, Tom Thumb in January, and Mark's Model World in February) with a commemorative plaque and the title of Ohio's Top GTP racer on the line.

Haven Racer Team-Up “Darkside Racing” Sweeps King of GTP Challenge
The twisty Hillclimb at Haven Raceway & Hobby is a world away from the high banks of the big King tracks, but Haven Raceway's Justin Porter, Mike Lear, Brian Lear, and Jeff Henes put their minds to work to conquer what had typically been a weak spot for the OCC veterans. Throwing a ton of shared setup info into one big pile and sharing car construction duties, the result was a 1-2-3-4 sweep of the King of GTP Challenge.
