Mach 1 a Very interesting body.

Enhanced body details and modified the back of the body so now it pulls good.

enjoy; g

Gene, how hard is it to get the mold out of a fresh body?   Does one end or the other pretty much need to be straight to use a one piece mold?

For bodies undercut on both ends does the mold need to be 2 piece or 3 piece?

Well, this Mach 1 pulls right off, just grab the front and pull up and off.

As far as undercut, it can cause you grief. A slight undercut at the front you can usually  get the body off.  Take the Ford J car has a lot of details that estend out from the body and the front has a undercut at the grill, yep a 2 part mold most likely . I will be doing the  Ford J car soon, I will prep it for a one piece mold and see if I can pull the body off, I really do think it will come off.

stay tuned.
