Music wire at Grainger – 15/36" lengths at $20.20. Not too bad a price; last stuff I got was very straight. They've got all the sizes as well, similar pricing.

I discovered a while back that Zoro is cheaper than Grainger, which is puzzling because I think Grainger owns Zoro.

Fifteen sticks of 36" length 0.062" is $14.19, free shipping on orders over $50.

Music Wire, Spring Steel, .062 in., PK15

Grainger is always high. I only go to the one six-seven minutes away when I need it now.

That item from Zoro is most likely the below;

.062" Steel Music Wire K&S Engineering KS504

$11.45 retail/ $6.73 my/raceway cost.

I had no idea the normal retail is that low. Is that what you sell it for? How much is shipping?

Just like OnlineMetals.com is owned by ThyssenKrupp and Online's prices are far lower than the parent company's warehouses.

Yes, when I use to carry it that way.

All the K & S wire I had, I cut into 1 foot pieces and had plated.

Shipping is/was about $7.75, and back before I had the plating done, I would only sell it if I could cut it up in at least 1 foot pieces.
