Just a quick reminder here that the Hand-out JK Hawk 7R7R motors being used this weekend at the Checkpoint Cup Can Am race on Saturday will once again have the shafts already cut in the interest of speeding things up for everyone.....

About 1/16 has been removed from the shaft and it has been chamfered and deburred but NOT prepped for solder.

Anglewinder Coupes followed by F1 on the Flat track and Retro Pro on the King track on Friday.  Can Am on the King track on Saturday and F1 on the King track on Sunday.  See you there!  :good:

I've bought handout motors after the race and there are quite a few fast ones, I have one from last year to run in F1, and thanks to Dale!!! he is handing me the record setting F1 chassis that has the race lap record at BPR to run, I will try not to disappoint and at least make a move up, LOL

Give me enough rope and I'll build a fast car... or hang myself?

Lookin' good for the trip down for Coupes and F-1.  I have a TSR powered backup coupe.  Might be 1st string if it beats the Hawk.

   Chris,

Yes the original one developed legs and walked out of Buena Park several years ago.  For the present one, Terry Schmid, an original Team Checkpoint member, found a great looking silver cup at a swap meet and we had a local trophy shop put a base on.
