You're welcome John; I just skimmed through the article and didn't notice about the drill shaft being used. That reminds me of another article in the same vein by Tom Malone in a 68 Car Model: he does a number of experiments with 4WD and differentials (the Tradeship one), and I think one of his rewound motors uses a long replacement shaft for the 4WD, so he doesn't have to put an extension on there... Some great looking chassis in that article! (at this year's Bordo race, Ezio was trying out a 4WD layout for next year's F1 race: front mounted motor, four-wheel drive, and the thing worked great!)
Bill, you did such a nice epoxy job on that motor that I was ready to believe you had epoxy-balanced it! Can't wait to hear how this does in a car...
