OK, folks, here is the full car! Stay tuned for details on how to get tickets. Oh and there is more! We have received several more items to include in the raffle!

It has a Parma Ti22 by me, a Tony frame, Bud Ffonts, medium Thunder rears, Koford gear, and Red Fox graphite guide.

Just so everyone knows, Tonyp donated the frame with fronts. PJ donated the rear tires, and the rest I donated.

I'm going to donate my money.  :laugh2:

I need this car to go along with the F1 Wounded Warrior car I won a few years back.  :)

Info on pre-race ticket sales will be coming soon. PayPal has changed how incoming money is able to be accessed, so I'm being forced to link to a checking account. I should have that straightened out in a few days. I have also received some donations of additional merchandise that will be raffled off and will post info on that at the same time.  I'm hoping to set a new record for the amount we send to Wounded Warrior.

On that note, if there are any vendors that would be kind enough to take part in this, please PM me. Thanks.

Okay, time to get things rolling with this.  I'm still dealing with Paypal, but I'm confident I'll get things worked out.  So here's the scoop:

Tickets will be $5 each and 5 for $20.  As in the past, you do not have to be in attendance to enter the drawing.  You can use paypal, johnnyvw164@gmail.com  Send it family and friends, and please DO NOT put anything in the notes.  I will confirm to the email address associated with your paypal account.  If you want any other confirmation, send me a PM here on the blog.

You can also send a check or PMO, just PM me for my address

In addition to the incredible car that is the grand prize, here are some other items that will also be raffled off:

Jersey John chassis, winner's choice

Caveman Bodeez custom painted VFC Charger and matching interior (I will post a pic of it soon)

RGEO Razzo chassis kit

Victorinox Wounded Warrior "tinker" Swiss Army knife (donated by myself)

Controller caddy bag from Ralph Thorne

trackside pit caddy from chad423 (look in the parts counter to see what this is)

More to come, this is what I have already received or have confirmation on.

Thanks everyone!

Also, any Retro East racer who is at Speedzone this Saturday for the finale can buy tickets in person at that time.  I will record your ticket numbers in the event you do not get to Retropalooza

Everyone who has sent money via PayPal has been acknowledged, except for one payment that is "pending" as of this morning.

To update the list of prizes, the Dominator chassis kit is a "Fang" F1.
There is also a "broken-in" Retro Hawk motor from Rich Theisen... he has some fast stuff!

Some folks have contacted me about the above charger I painted for the raffle. It is a VFC retro approved body with the VFC number molded in at the rear.

I have notified everyone who has paid up until just a few minutes ago.  So far $480 has been raised...awesome!!!  Thank's so very much to everyone who has sent money so far, and also to the people that have donated the items that will be raffled.  I'm actually more excited about the raffle than I am the racing!  LOL

BTW, if anyone is curious as to how I handle the "online" ticket sales, once I have notification of money received, I confirm to the email address associated with the account it was sent from (I mention that because in the past I have found some people use an email account that is just for paypal, and they don't check it very often).  I then pull the physical tickets relative to the amount paid, write the ticket numbers in a log, then separate the ones that go into the bucket and the ones that normally the buyer would keep. I write the person's name on the latter' that way I have a redundant record.  The log makes it easier to see who won something at the time of the drawing, as I know any ticket before a certain number was sold before the race weekend.

If anyone wants their tickets numbers, I would be happy to provide them via PM.

Which reminds me...I will need to cut off ticket sales Wednesday evening, June 5 at 6 pm EDT, so that I can wrap that part up.  Thursday June 6 I will be traveling to the race and will not have access to the internet.  Don't say I didn't warn ya...
