I hear ya! Can't imagine how long the wait will be for the Z06. I'd guess they are taking early orders. So much for instant gratification.

Years ago i was into home theater. Guys on a forum I use to frequent were always posting that they were waiting until the new model  was out before making a purchase. I honestly think some of those guys never bought anything, forever stuck in the "wait for the new model" mode.

Years and years ago I was into stereo audio equipment. A couple of the guys were into the latest and greatest speaker/source/electronics. They were in a continual "buy and upgrade" mode. As I remember they had well paying medical/technical careers, and were single.
