I’m told this is a Pactra slot car. I’m not familiar with the body. Chassis seems original Pactra?

Can anyone provide some info on the body and chassis? Are they original and what is the approx value.

Thanks,

Paul

Thanks, Matt,

Any idea on today’s retail value? I am looking to make an offer on this one. However I do not know the value.

Put me on the spot!!!

The prices are all over today, they change from day to day. Used to be the Astronaut was a hard car to find and they would bring a price over $100. eBay has done a lot to increase the supply of these 'hard to find' cars. Also, today there are nice repop bodies available and guys that can airbrush expert paint jobs. The chassis are easy to find on Ebay.

Looks like the frame is repaired or soldered on. Probably the rear tires are wrong. On the plus side the body looks to not be in bad shape; the decals will probably clean off. I would think $55-$65 is a ballpark number today. Just my opinion.

A good way to see a price spike is to get a discussion about a car on Slotblog!!

Thank you, Matt! Didn’t mean to put you on the spot. I value your opinion and you're always right on.

I’m going to make an offer accordingly based on the things you mention about the car. It is rough. Restorable but rough.

Thanks again,

Paul
