Warmack did cut the plates, but I specd the dimensions. Its Bryans D3 plate that I extended and put my rails in. The west coast have been running such cars for years.
I also already have 2 stock car plates that I've had for months. Torsion cars have been out since I started running retro 10+ years ago.

Sorry, Cap but I have had those exact plates for a month. in .040 and .030 thickness. The specs are mine, the chances of you coming with the exact same specs as MINE is Zero. Maybe we should just ask Bryan to Chime in. The pans are .200 longer then his original pan the the back of the pan were squared off which was requested by Matt Bruce. I am going to get ahold of Bryan shortly.
Happy Holidays to you too my Friend.

I never asked for anything to be a copy of yours. I saw guys running torsion cars and wanted to try it.

Gentlemen, I own chassis built by both of you, and can attest to the quality and the workmanship both of you put in your products.
In my four decades of work in the aerospace and machine tool industries there have been many cases of competing companies developing the same product independently to supply a market need. In one case I personally witnessed two companies hiring the supplier I worked for, to provide identical goods and services for the product each were trying to develop.
Given the narrow box you are working in and the common goal you are both working toward, it would be very conceivable that your dimensions would be indistinguishable, and the best business practice for your supplier to not mention it.
Best wishes of the holiday season to both of you.

I’ll have to look at the label, I don’t remember the brand, I bought it where I work, napa. It’s the lowest melting point solder we sell.

I prefer running axle tubes, I don’t like using a bunch of axle spacers, or long spacers on the axles.

It still frustrates me!
Slot Car builders and racers are some of the most talented people I come across. And, not to brag, boast or grin, I get to meet many of the most talented in our world.
It is unfortunate that we are seeing many of these individuals passing. What can be further done to promote the builders, racers, manufactures in our slotcar world to gain notice in the big world?
