Great job, Eddie!
How many of those green trophies does Clyde have?
Does he buy them, a palette at a time, from Costco? LOL

It's kind of like the Indy Borg-Warner trophy Mike, Only instead of getting your picture on the trophy you get your picture with the trophy.

What's the origin of the trophy?
Clyde's "Yarn Spinning National Championship"?
Cant be,
That would require a much bigger trophy.

Sounds like you met him at the hotel race at the Manchester USRA Nats, in 97.
Him having a comm lathe, balancer, and stack grinder in his room was real instrumental in my runner up finish to Chicky.
Being able to jump on the elevator, and go up to his room and completely rebuild a good running motor, including touching up a 459 stack that grew a bit, was real nice.
The chips and smoky bacon salsa at the Manchester Cactus Jack's, and the Buffalo wings from Mojo's trailer in Fayetteville, are a real toss up as the best Nat's food ever.
He won the race with my car!

FCR Hardbody Race #3
FCR Hardbody Race Hill Climb
It was a great race day, and it was good to see some former racers come back to race
I don't understand. You had nineteen participants turn up to race, but you had no more than eight participants for each of the four races. Did you have various classes or did some racers just not choose to participate in every event?
Great looking cars though! Did you have a concourse contest as well?

No concourse at the event you are speaking of
and there were those who only wanted to race on the oval in that event.

Those are very impressive trophies you've been handing out to the winners. What's the entry fee for each race?

Entry fee is $12
The trophy is like the one for the Indy 500,
you don't get to keep it, it's just for show.

In your hard body classes can the windows of the cars be made of flexi plastic or must they be hard styrene plastic like the rest of the body? What about the interiors of the cars? Styrene or some type of flexi-plastic? Or even cardboard? And what kind of driver figures are used?
Finally are bodies mounted to the chasses with two sided Velcro or some type of pin arrangement?

Good run Richie.
Richie is just getting his feet wet after a layoff from the hobby. He is going to be hard to deal with.
