So the wife comes home last night and says to me, I've got some really sturdy boxes in my trunk, can you bring them in, please?

I'm like, sure.

I go get them. This is what I find:

Wow, that's crazy. You can get that box and tape for free: https://store.usps.c...1-P_BOX_CREKIT1

But are they empty? :D

I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

I could fill one up with cremated remains of slot cars.  :laugh2:

Given the current "green" agenda, it's hard to believe that there isn't more pressure on Amazon, etc. to use sturdy boxes such as this as reusable boxes. As the delivery guy drops off your stuff at your door he picks up the boxes he delivered the day before. Empty and all designed to be folded completely flat and ready to be used again.   So simple.....Why aren't we doing this?

That's a smart idea Bryan. Makes perfect sense.  But it takes money to save money.

I do save certain boxes to use for my shipping needs. But I have more incoming than out going.

I would be happy with a standardized clear pocket where I could replace the incoming address with the new address.

Remember we are talking about the post office that is using old 9 MPG trucks to deliver our packages.

My mail gets delivered by Jeep or a Subaru. But then we have mud & snow. :)
