On whose stand, Mark?

The top is Alfa Romeo (see lettering on the brakes, on the left, and you can make out the text of one color as Alfa Rosso)
Bottom is Porsche.
Along with being the shape of a 911, Miami Blue is a Porsche color.

Many paint suppliers have used vacuum-formed bodies to display color options. While they aren't actually pulled for slot car bodies, they are very close to the right dimensions. Auto Air does the same thing at the Eastwood store in Pottstown, PA. It is really a common sense idea. Especially with today's pearls and color-changing paints.

You are most likely correct, Mike. Note the Quadrafoglios on the background.
Mark, were you able to buy a few bodies? LOL.

Back at the first Thingie Proxy, my 1/32 entry was a paint-sample vac-form, given to me here by a friend who's an industrial designer and receives that kind of sample merchandise. it's now in the hands of Swissracer, although everybody who drove it spent a lot of time cursing - including me! An odd 4WD chassis I picked up somewhere, entered without any testing and purely for the aesthetics, with crossed floppy body mounts (left side hinged on the right side of the chassis, etc., (hint: not a good idea!).
Ladies and Gentlemen, Blue Emerald! (saved the body pic, not the chassis...)
