What to do?
I am looking up addresses of old slot car companies then Google the address and zoom in on the street view.
Most are in Cali of course but they are all over the place. Interesting to see what they look like today.
Go ahead and try it, you'll be hooked.
Thank God I stocked up on red wine and cookies.
Everyone stay safe.

Mura was in a barn on a landscape materials site in San Leandro, I could not find it on current aerials. Really Hi-Tech, a barn.

Stay safe and well, and wash your hands!

Alleged amateur racer.
Mostly just play with lots of cars.
Able to maintain slot cars with a single bound.
Faster than a speeding Womp.
More powerful than a 36D.

I have been sitting here at home, watching the news, exploring my Roku, listening to music, watching anime, and sipping some rather exotic liquids off of some ice. I could get used to this....

Since I am in quarantine with my wife the voice in my ear said “the bathroom fan really needs replacing and the big box home improvement store delivers”. So off to the attic I go, 18 inches “floor” to roof changing out the fan. As I was cleaning up I spotted my #3 box (there have been five). Before I when back to the family I decided to see what was buried in there.
From 1969 two group 12 Friday night cars, a Dynamic and a Riggen. Shape eyes will note the 26D has an aftermarket shim and the armature has grind balance marks. Also the front axle and tires are not correct. After all this time both motors turned over on 3 volts from my power supply.
The other frame is from about the same time frame, 3/32 axles with 5/8 fronts.
With projects like these who needs epay?
