At our recent 1/24 Nationals, I had the misfortune to break two South magnets in two different G12 motors.

One set of Cahoza magnets were bevelled, the other not. Also, I believe that one set were T2 and the other T5.

Can I safely place one North T2 with one North T5 into a can, rezap them, and have a successful motor?

Asking for a friend :D

You may be fine. Or even invent something cool.

I would go up to the best o the factory when Monty was still with us. He would have row after row of magnets he had zapped and then took readings on. At that point he was not interested in north/south. He only wanted to get the magnets that had matching numbers and get the orientation correct. He would zap them into n/S when he built the setup. He found a magnet that had a particular gauss reading as a south, would have the same reading as a north. So no problem building the 2 mimatched magnets into a motor. Will there be any issues with different tips.....unknown

I'm thinking all will be fine, but just wanted to ask :)

Significant difference between t2 and t5.

Id not build a motor using magnets with that much variation.

So you will end up with one flat and one bevelled magnet?  I wouldn't choose to do that but who knows - could be the start of a new fad?

Re. difference between T2 and T5 magnets, the Cahoza website says this:

CAHOZA TORNADO 5 MAGNETS
these popular magnets are identical as #275 (Tornado 2 magnets) but specially recharged, selected for maximum strength and matched

In my experience of maybe ten Cahoza motors with a mix of T2 and T5, they gauss the same when rezapped.
