Still being worked on. Has been moved three times and finally ended up in my small back laundry room.

Started slot car racing in 1962. I have lots of vintage cars from the era I'm slowly restoring, too.

Welcome to Slotblog, Steve. That's a very nicely-detailed track, Steve! It's the first slot car track I've seen with its own cows, in the 50+ years I've been involved with slot cars. :)

Well done and detailed. I also like the layout of the racing. And CowHenge. Cool!

Greetings and welcome. Steve,

Looks like lots of fun to drive!

Very nice track. Steve!

Is there a particular brand of 1/32 cars you prefer?

Thank you.

Ernie

My favorite cars are NSR, Revoslot, and George Turner kits.

Here's my latest from him. Lotus 40. Also my scratchbuilt from my own molds and forms a Copper T73 with a Beardog chassis. Very quiet and smooth car to run.

BTW the track is Ninco.

Thanks so much for the kind comments gents. Very much appreciated.

Nice work, Steve. I am in the process of reviving my half finished track from 2001. I got a little more inspired when I saw your track. Also saw  your website and The Chameleon looks exactly like the creature from The  Outer Limits (ep. 04-13-64) , my all time favorite Sci-Fi.   Cars and creatures, can't beat 'em!  :D  :shok:  :clapping:

So that track has gone through many changes over the years since I first made this thread. It's now scalextric. I just could get it together to make a routed track in my small little back room. But I did manage to fit in about 40 plus feet of track into a 11x5 ft space.

I get to spread my wings racing with the Farrout Slot Car Club on their larger tracks so this track is a great way to practice and test tuning of my cars.

Controllers are Professor Motor.

I've also been doing a video series called, "Slot Car Fun" on Youtube where I talk about all things slot cars that covers my 60 years of experience and a bit about my hollywood career. Here's one of them.

This one covers the new Revoslot 2002 and a trip to Stephen Farr Jones track for setup day. A bit of an interview with Eddie Shorer about his new book I'm really enjoying currently.

If anyone is up here in Ventura with me give me a shout out.
