Great-looking track. We built a lot of tracks in that style, it was very popular. I used to call it a spread Hillclimb, only because we built a Hillclimb, a Grandstand and then the spread and they all had the same basic shape. And every time I see a huge basement like that I wish we would have built a ranch style house instead of a two-story.

But during this, The Winter of Covid part 2, since I built my track and Ernie's track last year, I decided I wanted to build an RV trailer exactly the way we have always wanted. Not finished yet but I only started it the middle of November. It is a little over 18' from tip to tail and I am having fun building it, I mostly live in our garage these days. I welded the frame, everything is built from scratch except for stuff like windows and the door.

I have been making videos that maybe some people will actually watch some time but my track building videos get a lot more views. This is the latest one.

Our new home has a 20' x 20' outbuilding. Improvements so far include insulation, independent HVAC, independent breaker panel on its own circuit, carpeting, custom workbench, drop acoustic ceiling, LED shop lights behind egg-crate polarizers. 10' by 17' table for a 1/32 Scalextric Sport four-lane track plus Slot Car Corner three-post driver stations with reversing switch, Trackmate race director, timing and remote track call, SCC jumper taps, SCC controller rests, variable voltage power supply.

I have used SCC products in the past and I feel that they are top notch.

The electricians are scheduled to be here this week to wire the HVAC after which the serious work can begin.

You went all out on the electrical part of it, reversing switches, controller resets and everything!  Looks good!

I had to do the SCC controller holders and hookups on mine. too. It's too much work of building it and making it nice not to put the little added touches like that on.

You've been busy with building, lights, climate control, and all the other stuff, too. Nice work!

Great, you'll have a small hobby house! A four-ane Scalex should allow 1/24 with a lane separating the cars.   Great to have a place to play  at home and 1/32 can be a great basement hobby.

I hope to have space also for my pinball collection. I've been considering adding "Hot Wheels" from American Pinball to the collection.

Steve this trailer looks pretty tricked out already and its got a long way to go still. I watched a couple of the early videos of it also, there is a lot of work that goes into a project like this. The frame building and the early videos are neat because you can see the progress fast. I wanna see the video when you take it out through the garage door because that looks CLOSE!!

It is so close the suspension and wheels and tires aren't even on it. Right now it is sitting on skids made out of 2x4's, the plan was just to drag it out with my oldest son's truck and then bolt everything back on. But I think I can get my 4 wheel car storing dollies under it and still clear the door. Another thing i will never do again-build a garage with a 7 foot high door. At the time though we were not in to camping so I just didn't see the need for a higher door.
