April's D3 Hardbody races at Buena Park Raceway had a lite turnout of racers as some regulars were unable to attend.
We ran a GTP race using 4 lanes at a time (4 outside lanes first, followed by 4 inside lanes) which provided enough turn marshals for the race.
This was a fast race with Jim Lane setting the pace with his always fast Porsche 962 GTP. Tim Herrera was very fast with his GTP and Marco Carvalho returned to racing hardbodies with his fast GTP.
Others running fast but not fast enough to catch the leaders were Eddie Shorer, Doug Jacks, Russ Uppman, Michael Kale, Russell Van Wyck and Keith Tanaka.
The podium (regular and race handicap podiums) had Jim Lane 1st, Tim Herrera 2nd and Marco Carvalho 3rd.

Our next D3 Hardbody races on Sunday, May 16th. BPR opens at 10 am, GTP race starts at NOON SHARP!!! Followed by the Mixed race.
Also, May 30th is the 5th Sunday in May which provides another hardbody race day in May!
