I think Oscar K. was one who sold them when he had Auto World, in Scranton, during the early & mid-60s.
I never saw one in real life, but it deff was the Auto World Catalog I saw it in.

Paul, this is just a shot in the dark. I the early 2000s, a man named Paul (whose last name I forget) came down from somewhere in Vermont to race slot cars with us at Queen City Speedway in Manchester. After a couple years, he moved on to Florida. He was about 50, single, had shoulder length gray & a beard, wore wire rims,& liked to wear "bib" overalls. Shortly after he started coming down, he bought a new black or dark blue Porsche 911 convertible from a Boston dealership. I actually remember sitting in that car, but not riding in it. That wasn't you by any chance, was it?

Thanks Paul it was just a shot in the wind. QCS was in Manchester 1996-2005, then sold & renamed Need for Speed. NfS closed August 2010.
