The level of sano and craftsmanship in all his chassis was unbelieveably perfect. I looked at a Jay Kisling F1 years ago at an R4 event, built by Tony. It was something you just look at in awe. So many details going on. I couldn't even comprehend. And Jay won with it.
I have a Tony P. Retro F1 and I think he wants me to race it, so I will. Soon.

I'm very fortunate to have gotten to know Tony a little bit in the last few years. He was very open and honest when I had questions for my own builds. And I have picked up several of his Retro chassis to use as racers and templates for my own designs for my personal use. I've never tried to 'build to sell' anything, especially because most are clones of others' designs!
I will never sell any of these.
God bless Tony and his family.

While I never got to meet Tony, I probably bought a dozen chassis from him over the years. This one is a good memory because he built it as the hurricane was bearing down on Florida about 4 years ago or so. I don’t remember the name , but it was a big one. He named this one Ruben “Hurricane “ Carter.
I followed his posts as the weather got worse, and he finished this one and a can am just before the power went off.
I think I’ll keep it.

In the earlier years of Retro racing Tony would offer me of his experimental cars in his pit box to race and if I won with it, or made the podium he would gift the car to me. This one particular car dates back to 2008 raced at Liquid Lou's on the Beast of the East.
Tony's early retro chassis' were widely used at the event:

While most of you know of or have a Tony P 1/24th scale scratchbuilt, I have an extremely rare 1/32 one Tony did about 10 or so years ago. It's a hoot!
