i don't think 1/32nd drag racing is very common. The owner of the track and the other racers can help you hunt down parts better than we can.

See how the car runs with its stock tires before you change things out. Does the shop have any competition for you (other drag racers) once you get your 1/32 car dialed in?
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

No their is not
Then find a different supplier. This one obviously doesn't want to help. Most track owners and staff are eager to help a newbie, but some are not. 1/32nd scale drag racing is generally not done at commercial tracks, but there is a plethera of private clubs around the country, and some have a drag strip. Check on Harry Wise's Home Racing World site for a listing of clubs. (Slotblog has a club listing too, if you haven't checked there already)

I don't know the size of the pioneer 1/32 tire's and can not find the size online should I ask my local hobby shop if they will help me. Or should I just buy the tire's too just see if they even fit

You should go to the track you're going to race at to buy all of your cars and parts. If they don't make money they go out of business and then you have nowhere to race.
I'm sure they could help you if you'd just give them a chance to.

Here's the size chart for Supertires, my recommendation. The 1105s would be the size for your GT-40. If the track that you are going to, and they indeed have a 1/32nd track as shown in the link, then they should have these in stock, or some staffer should be able to order them for you. Otherwise, most mail order stores like Electric Dreams or Professor Motor will have them. this list is for Scalectric cars only. Supertires has sizes for all major makes of 1.32nd scale cars.
