Buzz's son Frank will be selling everything in the store this Saturday and Sunday only 1/15 and 1/16... 9 AM till 4p PM

Everything must go... nothing is off limits.

Besides the usual slot car stuff... there are Arcade games, tools. posters, models, Aurora track, memorabilia, a mini four-ane 1/24  track, etc.

NO CREDIT CARDS... cash, Venmo, or PayPal only... .no credit. The more you buy, the better the deal.

Nobody will be allowed in before 9 AM!

I think this is my favorite find. Nothing says slot car control like a metalflake Ruskit handle.

I just hope that most of this stuff ends up later on eBay, identified as “from Buzz-A-Rama.”

So, the tracks were all removed in good shape, hopefully with a future somewhere else? Anyone take pics of the pieces of the Emperor?

As far as I know the Emperor is still in the basement with a King track. Not 100% sure what is going on with that or maybe somebody will chime in.

Hello, Nick.

Excited for Saturday, and thanks to you and Frank for all you've done to make the best of this situation. I'm imagining that it cannot have been easy.

I'll be coming to the sale from some distance, and want to be sure my Omicron odds are somewhat defensible to my family at home.   Will everyone be required to wear their mask at Buzz-A-Rama this weekend?

Many thanks!

I will second the request for pictures and, if possible, videos. Especially of the fight for the door before they open.

Maybe Frank can contact the guys who were going to make a movie about Buzz and Dolores.

Maybe they'd want to film something as kind of a follow-up/finale, to their partial story (the one that ended with the opera music at the end).

There are a few videos out there and interviews, I know I am in one of them and I was interviewed. I'm pretty sure I posted it here at the time it's probably in the archives.

No way I can get there from Omaha. I’m still looking for a 1/24 Mecom Lola GT Mk 6 body, there has got to be one there somewhere.

Wow, the ultimate sale of slot car history! Those who are able to go are so lucky!

Best of luck to all in attendance this weekend! May they find their youth at that store!

Anybody know what the status is on the tracks??

I see there was a miniature 1/24 track listed; any details on it?

They should mount a video camera over the checkout cash register and tape all the purchases. That way you get to see all the inventory being sold. Sell copies of the event. Might sell more than Doc's new book.

Best Regards,

Don

I went last weekend and I got some cool stuff. Sold some, holding onto some for now.

I didn't happen to see any Gorski controller items, but then again I only really concentrate on a few boxes.

There's one box with at least 30 BZ chassis on the card, all moldy and nasty. I left it as I left my plastic gloves in Jersey.

To all going tomorrow - good hunting! May the Gods direct thee into interesting pillage! :)

Frank and his wife Nancy are super cool. Aside from the old stuff, I picked up a 1979 Nats shirt and a more recent Buzzy shirt... I'm actually wearing the new one right now under my vintage cabana shirt!

Nicky - deepest condolences on your loss, call me if you want to chat... and let me know when you'll be in Jersey again I'll meet ya, and I'll let Pete know as well.

This old country Garden State boy is staying in bed this weekend, driving through NY last weekend was enough excitement for a good while, even if there's an HO show in Quakertown!!!

Best,

Mike D

I forgot to mention, I know where the tracks went and I think they are in good hands, but I'll let the party divulge at their own pace... but... the tracks ended up in rural NJ.

I actually found a controller frame that says Gorski on it... I took it home.
