How do you find anything in that room with 50 or 60 oher people also looking? Was it just grab & go?
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Take your time and look.
Probably not more than 10 or 12 people at a time.
I think this was my favorite find. Buzzy's own tire machine that he used back in the day. I plan on using it.

American Edelstaal sold a tire machine in the late '60s and '70s using some of the Unimat lathe parts. I see Unimat parts in Joe's post #36 photo. I'm guessing Buzzy heavily modified one of these early machines into what it is today.
Rick Thigpen (dc-65x) has one of the American Edelstaal tire machines in near-mint condition. He showed it in one of his builds.

Anything left at Buzz-a-Rama this chilly Sunday? Will the sale continue next weekend?
There is plenty of stuff left... as of now they are not sure about next weekend.
I'm trying to talk them into another weekend. Now it is just by appointment only

I hope the barber pole was taken and not trashed...
You see the barber pole that is on the floor? Well, those boxes next to it contain... MORE BARBER POLES! there had to be 8-12 of them. New Old Stock!

How was stuff being sold? Individual items? Box lots? By the table?
I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

Hello everyone,
Got back yesterday from the big sale as I had to stop half-way across Pennsylvania due to the storm.
First, what a weekend! I'll have stories to tell for years!!! So much to see and experience, and so much available! Also, great guys helping Frank; lots of "ball busting" as only New Yorkers can do! Lots of laughs!
Second; huge thanks to Frank and Nancy for their hospitality. Frank asked if I would come and help describe what he had, and help determine fair prices for stuff, and act as a consultant for people rummaging and wondering what would work with what, and offer opinions. I hope those who were there understand that I was trying to be fair to everyone with pricing, but believe me, I had Buzz barking in my ear that I was recommending some things too cheap! When Frank and I spoke afterwards, I said that I thought deals were had, and he got paid, but I didn't think anyone got gouged.
Third; there is a BIG bunch of good and useful stuff left. As Nicky said, there be will some "by appointment" sales coming, and then I believe Frank is going to take what is left for short-term storage. Perhaps things to shows (assuming we're allowed shows this year) or maybe some bulk packages to those interested. Again I stress, lots still there! Wish I could take it, but my house is full of my own stuff, and yes, I need to start selling it while I'm still physically able!
Fourth; I took a bunch of pictures that might show better the bits/pieces/parts that were everywhere. The basement originally had some things in well organized areas, but there were lots of big boxes full of random parts. I assume those were maybe remnants of another shops/raceways that closed, or perhaps random shopping trips to Polks, so... Anyway, I want to find the best way to make those pictures available without clogging up pages and download times.
Finally, I found something for me that I have been searching for over the last 20 years. I found a Dyna-Rewind armature rewinding machine! Buzz was the East Coast distributor for Dyna-Rewind, but I could only hope he might have had one. He did, and now I do!!! Thanks, Frank!
Pictures to come...
