Man ,does Lou still look good. He doesn't appear any different from when I was there for the '84 Worlds.
Does he still tool around in a Carrera?

Lou's company car is a BMW Mini-Cooper all dressed up in cool slot car-related body art.

I see Andy won with the new O/S Ferrari 612... how good was it, Tony?

A raceway owner with a nice German-made car.

I didn't think it was possible.

:D Mike -

When we were there practicing a few weeks ago there was a Porsche Spyder in front of the door which I just assumed belonged to Lou. Anyone know for sure?

And just what do you drive, Mike Swiss?!?!? :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

Ray,

I'm going to try to one-up Lou.

Tony said if he gets three quality nerfs in on Ron and finishes ahead of Matt in at least one race at Sano II, Trinity Products, Inc. is going to come up with a "little" thank you present for C/Rcwy.

I can hear it now when Marge in purchasing gets on the horn with Tony:

"Excuse me, Tony, but what exactly is a 1/1 scale Oscar Koveleski McLaren, where do I order one, and where in Chicago does it get drop-shipped?" :)

Mike, the Porsche was Lou's... And yes. Lou looks exactly like he did in 1984....

Ron, the body on that car was awesome. I let Andy try a couple cars and he immediately picked that one. It was super smooth and had stupid lock up brakes...

To be honest when I was fooling around with bodies on it I though it was smoother overall on Elmsford's track than the Ti was. I did not have another done up to try on my racer and Andy refused to let me take his body.

I am happy to say that a check has been sent as requested to Anna Gorski in memory of John Gorski Sr. from the proceeds of the Retro East Elmsford Race. As you all know this race, and each first race of the Winter Season, will be in his honor as one fo the great pioneers of the slot racing.

After costs to the raceway, we had $85 left over to which I added $15 more and sent the check for $100. Thanks to all that came to race!

Thanks for all the kind words from everyone. I think I was really lucky, especially against that guy with two first names... (they call me Bruce) :-)

Actually, Tony had me sweatin' bullets the whole race long! I used a good strategery (Dubya quote) and started on the hard lanes so I could finish strong. I will have to make some time to play some more as I really had a good time!

John,

Great paint job, too!

Thanks, Tex.

I tried to stay close as possible to the original Ti22 paint scheme. I don't thing anyone got it...
