all you are doing is coming up with stuff "you" don't like and complaining about it.
Isn't that the only time you post? When you're criticizing or complaining? You're not exactly Mr. Sunshine you know.

Phil,
I agree with your assessment of Jim.
But I really don't care if he's crabby Jim.
I'm in the unenviable spot of being the only moderator that is on Slotblog regularly and will moderate.
If I moderated Mr. MOAM and just deleted, instead of speaking up, on what I felt was obtaining free advertising or making untruthful claims, I would be accused of censoring my competition.
If they feel I'm out of line, I wish another Slotblog mod, or Cheater, would edit or delete my post or posts.
For God's sake, all I want is for racers to realize that G7 performance and/or 40 races for a high performing FK motor, is not a possibility.

I'm curious. Is there anyone that thinks it is?

I'd not been back to this thread in a while and just noticed that there's been recent activity. I see "Mr. MOAM" dissected and commented on most of my previous comments that regarded his Ebay claims as fanciful creative marketing. He responded with further fanciful creative marketing and to what he thought I said, not actually what I said. I didn't start slot racing yesterday, I've been around since the 60's, I'm a wing car fan, and I know a little something about cobalt motors. I also have a college degree in electronics and am retired from a long career in engineering, so I know something about that, too. I recognize make believe fantasy when I see it, and my only motivation here is to help people avoid buying into creative fantasy marketing they might not recognize.
Since no track was identified for producing wing car lap times under 3-seconds, I can honestly say I've already seen track records well under 3 seconds using current high performance crimped endbell Chinese motors. This is not an earth-shattering achievement. I'm sure Phoenix Supra, Chicagoland CR106/206, TWP 70KBB, Argentine Slot Raptor 75KBB, and Hawk 12BB can already achieve this. An under 3 second lap is a long way from the MOAM creator's claim of G7 performance of under 1.5 second laps. Perhaps he's never seen a G7 to know how fast they are. Some people think my 27 Lite is freaking fast, and it's not even state of the art.
I also noted the re-opening of the weighted guide thread. I hadn't seen the bulk of this discussion from 2018 until now, and I have to agree with Jason Holmes comment from back then that it was time to close. I think the horse has expired and doesn't need any further flogging. As someone in that previous discussion said, the added weight in the guide blade is really insignificant and won't suddenly transform any chassis using one into an instant advantage over one not using it. I had thought about trying one with tungsten weight, and seeing this was tried also without any significant improvement, I'll put that idea to bed.

Thanks to all of you for your opinion. I will take my own path in this situation now.....
