Does anyone know for sure the correct rear axle length for the basic Cuc?

Is it 2 11/16"?

Thanks

This is some info you might find useful Joe?

I stared this post just to gather info and answer question like yours. That  caliper is reading 2.56'' = 2 - 9/16"

Is your car a early model with narrow wheels and no side body mounts?

Thanks, Martin.

Second series with the body mounts.

At the risk of assuming it probably should have the 1/2" wide wheels.

Hey Joe, read post 7,8, and 9.  in Cox Iso-fulcrum restoration infomation post

Tires measure almost 5/8'' or .605" wide. Age shrinkage? they were probably 5/8'' 50 years ago.
